Digital maturity: A simplified diagnosis

Companies can now carry out a comprehensive assessment in less than 30 minutes to lay the foundations for a successful digital transformation.

The digital transformation of a company is rarely a smooth journey. Each project follows its own roadmap, and every context demands a different approach. Yet, whatever the destination, it is always essential to know where you are starting from in order to know where to go next.

This is precisely the idea behind the digital maturity diagnosis proposed by the Luxembourg Digital Innovation Hub (L-DIH), which is now available in a lighter version. Companies can now evaluate their current situation themselves in under 30 minutes using an online questionnaire.

“This tool provides a free, comprehensive diagnosis and a prioritised roadmap. Eligible companies can also benefit from a comparison with their European peers,” explains Mickael Desloges, Senior Advisor – Assessments & Roadmaps at Luxinnovation. “Its flexibility and ease of use make it a highly valuable asset.”

Six dimensions covered

Based on a European methodology, this streamlined assessment explores six key aspects of a company’s digitalisation: strategy, processes, culture, technologies, data management, and cybersecurity. The tool offers users a clear and structured overview of their current position and drives them towards the most relevant actions to accelerate their digital transition.

“The use of this diagnostic tool allows companies to take a step back and assess their level of digitalisation by identifying both strengths and areas for improvement,” summarises Mr Desloges. “It also helps to reveal new opportunities through a report analysing aspects of digital technology that are sometimes overlooked or more advanced than expected.”

The report is provided to companies within three days of completing the questionnaire.

This assessment serves as the foundation for tailored support, including a personalised roadmap for progress, expert guidance from L-DIH and Luxinnovation, and advice on available aid and funding at both national and European levels.

DIH services are open to any manufacturing company registered in Luxembourg seeking to enhance its digital capabilities and operational efficiency. Eligible companies must manufacture, transform, or assemble products in Luxembourg and employ fewer than 3,000 people worldwide within their group.
