The Luxembourg Digital Innovation Hub (L-DIH), which is managed and hosted by Luxinnovation, is thrilled to announce a new date for its postponed DIH ON TOUR Day at the LIST Materials and Research Technology department in Hautcharage, which will take place on 23 November 2023.
Agenda
12:00-12:45 I Welcome, Registration & Lunch
12h45-13:30 I Low Code & No Code Platforms, by Jordi Cabot (LIST)
Tools that can help to build prototypes quickly, including prototypes of “smart software”.
13:30-13:45 I Introduction of MRT activities, by Marc Angotti & Ulrich Pechstein (LIST)
The “Materials Research and Technology” (MRT) department, with its 200 researchers and engineers, contributes to the emergence of enabling technologies that underpin the innovation processes of local and international industry. MRT’s activities hinge on four thematic pillars: nanomaterials and nanotechnology, scientific instrumentation and process technology, structural composites, and functional polymers.
13:45-15:15 I Tour of “LIST Materials Research and Technology” (MRT) facilities: the Materials & Manufacturing Technology Infrastructure and the Composite Manufacturing Platform
The Materials & Manufacturing Technology Infrastructure (MMTI), as a transversal entity offers a combination of recognized scientific and technological competencies and cutting-edge equipment in the field of advanced characterization, testing, composite manufacturing, and surface treatment.
The Composite Manufacturing Laboratory and the PVD Pilot line are the main infrastructure that will allow to develop innovative material/process combination at the (semi-) industrial scale.
15:15-15:45 I Break
15:45-16:30 I Highlight: Technical presentation / Q&A Testimony of Gradel SARL
16:30-17:00 I Info Session: L-DIH service catalogue & focus on Infrastructure and expertise for testing AI technology before investing, by Laurence Johannsen (LIST)
LIST proposes AI and Data Analytics infrastructure, as well as the expertise of data scientists and dedicated services to support the digitisation of Luxembourg and greater region ecosystem. After a brief overview of the infrastructure capabilities and expertise available, Laurence will illustrate how it has been used so far with AI and high-performance data analytics examples from LIST’s projects in the manufacturing industry. Then he will present how companies can access this unique infrastructure and can have support to test AI and Data Analytics technologies before making any investment decision, in the framework of the Luxembourg Digital Innovation Hub.
17:00-18:30 I Networking
